Dickson Fashion Square
Dickson Fashion Square occupies one corner of the Olympia Plaza shopping centre. It’s relatively cramped, but literally packed to the rafters with clothing and accessories. Most of the apparel on offer is menswear, and although they do have a rack or two of womenswear, the selection is not great. The best bargains to be had here are on leather goods, which are all from one or two seasons ago. You can pick up a Miss Sixty handbag for HK$600, genuine-leather handbags from Tommy Hilfiger start at HK$900 and they have a wide range of Alviero Martini bags from HK$2,000, while small leather goods from Pierre Cardin start from as little as $200.

Nike Factory Store
This store is spacious and well laid-out, with clothing organised into sport-specific categories including yoga, running and tennis wear all from Nike. There is a decent amount of womenswear too with up to 40% off the retail price and an excellent selection of footwear and running shoes which start from as little at HK$400. You can also get discounted backpacks and accessories.

Just a couple of doors along from the Nike Factory Store is the Footspot Outlet. Despite not being a store that we are particularly familiar with, it is worth a look in. The best stuff on sale here is from Hong Kong footwear brand Oxbridge Town, who make fashion forward footwear at a reasonable price. This means that the discounted stuff is a steal, from around HK$400 for an on trend pair of shoes. What’s more is that when we went in there was a huge sale with prices starting at under HK$100 for a pair of brogues, ballet pumps or desert boots.

Located on the third floor of a slightly shabby department store, the Esprit Outlet is vast, well-organised and cheap. An excellent place to go for basics, prices for simple tops and skirts start at a minuscule HK$29. The choice here is excellent, and while the sizing may be a little bit hit or miss, it more than makes up for it with the huge quantity of stock. Casual dresses start at less than HK$100, expect to pay around HK$200 for a pair of jeans and the same for handbags.

The World Signs
While this store doesn’t look like much from the outside, it is actually home to some pretty good bargains. They have a lot of labels on offer, including Bottega Veneta, Prada, Longchamp, Miu Miu, Celine and Chloe. Some of their stock is even from current collections, and although most of it is from last season, they are still relevant designs, like Miu Miu’s Matelasse collection from Fall/Winter 2012. Prices are around 20% off, although it varies depending on the brand, and best of all they allow you to spread the cost and pay in 12 monthly installments.
