Shopping in Sheung Wan is an adventure, discovering unusual boutiques and hidden gems in small alleyways and narrow streets. One of our favourite spots to shop is the ever-trendy Aberdeen Street. Located off Hollywood Road at the start of Sheung Wan, Aberdeen Street is right in the heart of this bustling area, and with an eclectic selection of boutiques and eateries, it is a favourite hangout for hip Hong Kongers living in the Soho and Mid-levels area.
Founded by Alex Daye and Ellis Kreuger, Moustache is home to all things bespoke and unique. A menswear store, it boasts a selection of curios as well as their namesake brand consisting of tropical shirts, underwear, Bermuda shorts, lightweight cotton shirts and stylish t-shirts. The space is also home to one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious tailors. Making custom formal wear reminiscent of 1960’s Hong Kong, they gather inspiration from London and Italian styles while sourcing fabrics from Japan and favouring wool and cotton linings over synthetic fabrics.
