Thom Browne Opens First Flagship Boutique in Hong Kong

New York designer Thom Browne opens its first flagship boutique in Hong Kong in On Lan Street in a partnership withJoyce Group. The 2,200 sq ft boutique is designed by Thom Browne based on the designer’s original store in New York. Composed of three levels, it features a glass box enclosed staircase veiled with white blinds to connect the floors that house a full range of the men’s collection including shoes and accessories. Terrazzo floors, grey marble clad walls, Browne’s signature window blinds, continental mid-century furnity by Paul McCobb, Edward Wormley and Pierre Jeanneret are some features of the flagship store.

Thom Browne is known for his hand-made suits. He has been honored the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award in 2006 and 2013, the GQ Designer of the Year in 2008and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in 2012. His innovation in tailoring is evident in this men’s and women’s collection.
