A first standalone store in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong welcome’s Balmain’s still expensive little sister line, Pierre Balmain, with its first standalone store in Harbour City. Boasting an interior inspired by 1945-1950 Parisian apartments, expect straight lines, brass balusters and marble floor tiles. Housing both men’s and women’s collections, the Pierre Balmain store is a mindful balance between classic French and sleek modernity.
Like it’s main counterpart, Pierre Balmain is characterized by its distinct Parisian rock and roll chic – think cigarette pants, leather jackets and body con dresses. Despite the bleeding-wallet prices, a market for both the main and diffusion lines clearly exists somewhere in Hong Kong and its neighboring parts. Additional Pierre Balmain stores are scheduled to follow in Asia including Singapore.
