sacai_store_butterboom1.jpg JOYCE continue to lead the fashion pack with their innovative concepts and purveying of cult labels. Japanese it-brand SACAI is the latest to receive the JOYCE treatment with the launch of its own free standing store in Hong Kong.

Located on On Lan Street in Central, the retail space is designed by the SACAI creative team and spans across 1,600 square feet. The space takes inspiration from Hong Kong’s vertical living with expansive ceilings and an ‘outdoor meets indoors’ design that blends exterior pavement with the modern interior. The store has a gallery feel to it in that it features design furniture like the cement chair and artworks by Ryota Morikawa from the Japanese art collective, Gelchop.  The SACAI store launch in Hong Kong with an exclusive Hong Kong capsule collection created especially for the opening along with its latest S/S 15 collection.

Founded by designer Chitose Abe, SACAI has been well received by some of fashion’s insider including Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour.  Known for its chic designs that incorporate both longevity and fashion forward aesthetics, SACAI has risen from cult brand to become a global brand.
