Jack Wills opens up in Hong Kong - Butterboom

Fans of UK brand Jack Wills will be happy to hear that they are opening their first Asian store in Hong Kong – and not just one to test the market but two: at Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui.

For those who don’t know the brand, Jack Wills takes inspiration from preppy UK university lifestyle wear, and makes it hipper and cooler. They’ve definitely latched onto something as they have almost 60 stores so far in the UK and US, and are now looking into breaking into Asia through Hong Kong.

It really does feel like an invasion of the big casualwear stores from across the shores of late, as so far this year we’ve witnessed the opening of American Eagle earlier this year, Hollister in August, and we’re now waiting for The Gap later this month as well as Abercrombie & Fitch and finally Forever 21 opening soon.

The Jack Wills product range itself offers a collection of clothing for women and men, as well as housewares and lifestyle items, and have been seen sported by British royals themselves, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry, along with top celebs including Joe Jonas, Karlie Kloss, and Alex Pettyfer.

We visited their flagship store in the re-energized Leighton Centre and it looks like Jack Wills is definitely putting their best foot forward with an amazing two-level store that’s as hip and cool as is deserved in one of the trendiest shopping areas of Hong Kong.

For example, here’s one of the dressing rooms at the flagship store:

We’ve a feeling we’ll be featuring A LOT more about Jack Wills in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Follow Jack Wills on localized social media channels like: Facebook, Twitter account and on Weibo – and it seems they will be really using these social media channels to promote the brand here in HK so definitely check them out.
