Hong Kong gets its first rugby-designer label store in Causeway Bay.
Hong Kong’s passion and enthusiasm for the Ruby Sevens Tournament is finally being answered with the rugby-inspired fashion label, Eden Park, coming to us at last.
Created in 1987 by legendary French rugby player, Franck Mesnel, the label is sure to make just as much of a splash here as it has done in France. Founder Franck Mesnel originally made a name for himself playing rugby for his country, before becoming best known for subverting club games with his unique taste on fancy dress, including an occasional pink bow-tie which is now the symbol of the brand.
In its native France, Eden Park has grown to 18 shops and 350 distribution outlets, and has already broadened its remit from clothing into jewellery, perfume and homeware. The opening in Hong Kong marks the second foray for the brand and promises signature rugby shirts and rugby-style jerseys, all cultivating a rugby chic culture that the French love.
