Hong Kong continues to define itself as a major player on the international fashion scene, this time with the opening of Chinese brand JNBY on Hanoi Road in Tsim Sha Tsui later this month.
Founded in 1994 by a collective of 11 former art and design students who came together after college to create the brand, JNBY has quickly grown and now boats stores in locations such as Moscow, Tokyo, North America and Europe and has garnered a cult following fuelled by the appeal of the label’s flowing dresses, soft fabrics and DIY aesthetic. The brand now designs womenswear, menswear and a kids line.
The new Hong Kong store will represent the modern aesthetics that JNBY is known for and will stock the latest A/W ’14 range upon opening. Expect classic pieces with unexpected design details, unique fabric combinations, graphic cuts and splashes of colour. The range is inspired by all aspects of culture including music, art, and architecture and the individual interpretation of clothing. We think JNBY is a great option for working women – their pieces are versatile, classic, fashionable and undeniably sophisticated. The store will officially be open from November 29th.
