Swire Properties in Hong Kong in collaboration with London’s Serpentine Galleries and Zaha Hadid Design, the Zaha Hadid: There Should Be No End To Experimentation exhibition will showcase for the very first time in Hong Kong. The exhibition will run from 17 March to 6 April 2017 at Artistree, Taikoo Place in Quarry Bay.

The exhibition features early paintings and drawings by the late acclaimed architect. It was first conceived with Hadid herself and reveals her as an artist instead with drawing at the very heart of her work. The work ranges from the 1970s to the early 1990s and includes paintings, calligraphic drawings and rarely seen private notebooks with sketches that show her thoughts about architecture’s form and relationships.

There will also be four experimental virtual reality experiences specially developed in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture to offer an insight into Hadid’s vision. There will also be a dedicated mobile tour offering visitors an interactive gallery experience including stories, audio clips and additional drawings. In addition, a screening room featuring exclusive footage from the Zaha Hadid archive will also be available.
