Hong Kong’s most anticipated ink art event – Ink Asia – is back for its third edition this year, bringing with it a host of activities, previews and exhibitions showcasing ink art. The fair will take place from 15 to 17 December 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Since its establishment in 2015, Ink Asia dedicates itself to promoting ink art in Asia. A fair that attracts collectors, critics, scholars and art lovers, Ink Asia aims to explore the possibility of this art form with an open mind.
For its third edition, highlights include a themed exhibition and catalogue entitled “Water + Ink: The Asian Vision of the Transformation of Modern and Contemporary Ink Art” that is a collaboration between Kuart Center (Beijing) with Ink Asia 2017. The fair will also host international galleries and academic institutions from 50 different countries displaying ink art and also taking part in interactions and discussions. Well-known artists like Li Jin, Zheng Chongbin, Yang Chichang, Zhang Yu, Sang Huoyao and many more will showcase their works as well.
