Hong Kong Art Week is happening soon and we are looking forward to the over 100 art activities that will be taking place all over Hong Kong.
The biggy is the Hong Kong Art Week Gallery Walk, happening on 3 November, and is a really fun way to check out some of Hong Kong’s best galleries in the arty neighbourhoods of Central, Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun. Tickets for Gallery Walk (HK$390 for general admission and HK$250 for students) will give you access to all participating galleries, including 10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Parkview Art HK, Yan Gallery, Galerie KOO, Opera Gallery, Kwai Fung Hin Gallery, de Sarthe Gallery, Galerie du Monde, Axel Vervoordt Gallery and more. Aside from the gallery visits, the event promises a fantastic party atmosphere as the whole Central area will come alive with live music, street art and free food and drinks from some of the neighbourhoods’ best restaurants like Brickhouse, Fish & Meat, Tartine and Aberdeen Street Social. All money raised from the tickets will go to supporting The Society for Community Organisation (SoCo), Hong Kong Art Gallery Association’s Artist Residency Abroad Programme and Arts Education Programme.
We’re is giving away 10 tickets to the Gallery Walk. If you’re interested, email us at email@example.com. We will issue special codes for you to get your e-tickets via ticketflap on 1 November, 2016.
Aside from the Gallery Walk, there will other art activities that will take place during Art Week, 27 October to 9 November 2016, including a family art day, live Argentinean Chamber Music Concert by the world famous Eduoardo Tami at Puerta Roja Gallery and other surprise entertainment.
