Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), IVE (LWL) and Vitra Design Museum from Germany are organising the George Nelson: Architect, Writer, Designer, Teacher exhibition together from the 14th of March to 2nd of June.

The show features designs and insights by the reputable designer George Nelson. Nelson started off as an author in the thirties and then opened his own design office offering corporate and design communications in 1947. He treated exhibitions as opportunities to experiment with temporary constructions, which was aligned with his architectural background.

Nelson’s iconic furniture designs as well as writings and brochures are showcased, and a number of his signature works like the Marshmallow Sofa, the Bubble Lamps and the Wall Clocks are displayed.
