Galerie Perrotin is currently showing recent works by Beijing artist Chen Fei in the exhibition entitled Flesh and Me until 15th March. Chen has a strong background in films and moving image which influences his works from subject to compositions.
Flesh and Me is a record of Chen’s becoming an independent adult, by infusing his wild imagination into the super-flat paintings, the artist’s exaggerated images create game-liked atmosphere to depict his black humour and intend to challenge audience’s perception on aesthetics and morality.
For all of you who are interested to see some whimsy and rebellious artworks from the post-80’s generation, this free admission exhibition at the Galerie Perrotin is surely the one to check out.
