Asia+ Mid-season Auction by Christie’s Hong Kong

Christie’s Asia+, a mid-season auction of Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art is scheduled for 2-4 April. The auction aims to provide collectors with a comprehensive range of art historical discourses, creating a unique panoramic view of Asian art. Items for sale will include works from the 20th century, Chinese avant-garde and contemporary movements, some items will be exhibited from the 2nd to the 4th of April.

Works by acclaimed artists Zao Wou-ki, Liu Wei, Yoshitomo Nara were chosen for this auction, among the highlights of the series is Zeng Fan-zhi’s Bathroom, a 165cm by 180cm oil painting on canvas, which is estimated to be worth HK$6.5-9.5 million.
