Tell us about yourself…
I was born in Hong Kong and later moved to Vancouver for a little bit. I came back to Hong Kong in 2007 and have been back for over six years now. I’ve always been interested in fashion and did a little modelling in Vancouver, but what really inspired me to start my own blog – Cindiddy.com was a story in Vogue that listed out all the new bloggers that were expressing their own personal style on their fashion blogs.
A project I am currently working on…
I’m currently working on expanding the travel side of my fashion and lifestyle blog. I’ve started the year off in Phuket and Niseko, and I’m really excited to be able to visit a lot more places as the year goes on.
Describe your style…
My style is easy to understand and straight forward. I like to keep it simple and casual.
The secret to good taste is…
Trends come and go and doesn’t alway work for everyone. The secret to good taste is to stick to what you like and what works on you.
A quote that inspires you…
“I’d tell them that you don’t have to be anybody. Because I’d know that being somebody, doesn’t make you anybody anyway.” – Gia Carangi
What does your wardrobe consist of mostly?
My wardrobe consists of a lot of leather jackets and sunglasses. I like jackets because they can easily be paired with everything. Sunglasses are an awesome way to pull off an outfit. Whether you’re going to work meetings or hanging out with friends, a pair of sunglasses always complete the look.

Who do you think are the most promising HK designers you have seen so far?
When I get to attend shows at Hong Kong fashion week, I see that designers are getting more and more talented, with lots of different styles and materials in their designs. The designers I saw at HKTDC’s HK fashion map were very promising and great at incorporating local tastes with modern, global appeal.
How do you see fashion blogging evolving in the next 3 years?
Fashion blogging has become its own monster and has grown in so many directions and nobody could have predicted how big it had become. In the next 3 years I see fashion bloggers becoming more and more like their own brand and doing more than just posting outfit posts on their website because I don’t think that’s enough anymore.
One big important change you want to make in the world…
I want to be able to inspire people the way I have been inspired — whether it be by something I have created or something I have shared that inspires people to pursue their passions.
