Hitting the high fashion notes.

In the world of canto-pop, some stars stay in vogue only for a couple of seasons. But Sandy Lam will always be a timeless classic with her melodic voice, soulful singing and heartfelt songs. She shot to fame in the ’80s, bringing R&B and light jazz to the masses.

Although she prefers to maintain a low profile, Sandy rocked the industry when she married the famous Taiwanese music man, Jonathan Lee, in 1998 with whom she has a daughter, Li Xi Er. Splitting up after 6 years and happily single now, Sandy’s latest project stars in a short film produced by the WWF, encouraging the reduction of carbon in office spaces.

With her cropped black hair and pixie-like face, her look exudes high fashion chic. Her choice of wardrobe on and off stage reflects her unpretentious and humble personality. In her recent world tour, Sandy dazzled the crowd with this season’s rocker chic studs, leather biker vests and shimmering sequined tops, while you can usually see her in black and neutral colours, with clean-cut shapes perfect for her petite frame.
