Celia Wong, stylist to celebrities takes a look at who wore what last week.
We are starting a new column at Butterboom.com with “Best Dressed of the Week”. Stylist to celebrities, Miss Celia Wong is keeping a watch on who wore what last week for us. Check out last week’s who wore what and our verdict on who was best dressed!
Celebrity: Kelly Chen
Event: Oriental Watch Company 50th Anniversary
What she wore: DVF gown, Sergio Rossi shoes
Celia’s comments: Best Dressed of the Week!
She carries the gown very well. Not only because she has the slender figure to carry it, she also adds a sense of style and trendiness. What so special about it is that she’s wearing her hair down, which is refreshing.
Celebrity: Miriam Yeung
Event: Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
What she wore: Celine jacket and accessories, Korean pants brand unknown, YSL shoes
Celia’s comments: Miriam with her hair up looks classy in a suit. She balances this with pink feminine shoes from YSL to match with the colour theme of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
Celebrity: Ava Liu
Event : Boss Orange event
What she wore: Boss Orange jacket, dress from Single life DS and hat from Zara.
Celia’s comments: The beauty of this outfit is its simplicity. Ava looks like a young girl on the street of Paris. Very refreshing and her animal print hat is a nice highlight.
Celebrity: Charlene Choi
Event: Movie premiere
What she wore: dress from Valentino, shoes from Mugler
Celia’s comments: A Valentino dress on Charlene does not make her look old. Instead the dress makes her look young. Loves how Charlene accessorizes the dress with funky accessories, shoes and stylish gloves.
Celebrity: Sherman Chung
Event: Steve Madden FW11 fashion show
What she wore: Creature de Keis (local designer) black top, skirt that was bought in the States and Steve Madden F/W collection shoes
Celia’s comments: Love Sherman’s avant garde look. You won’t miss her in any event because of her sharp look. This girl’s got star quality.
