
German luxury watchmakers A. Lange & Söhne was established in Saxony, Germany by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in 1845. The success of A. Lange & Söhne is attributed to their pocket watches made from outstanding craftsmanship, which became a very sought after pieces.
Production halt during World War II, forcing the company to close, going into a 40 year hiatus. In 1990, Walter Lange, great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolph Lange relaunched the company and became a member of the world’s leading luxury good company Richemont. In 2011, A. Lange & Söhne opened their first boutique at 1881 Heritage, Tshi Sha Tsui and offers timepieces for men and women. Other authorised retailers in Hong Kong like Prince Jewellery & Watch and Emperor Watch & Jewellery also sell their watches.
