Harvey Nichols is a luxury fashion store founded by Benjamin Harvey in 1831 in London. It started as a small textile shop in London selling linen, however when he died and his wife took over the business, she went into partnership with James Nichols to form Harvey Nichols & Co. The textile store was demolished and a new department store was formed.
Harvey Nichols soon became the place to shop and attracted the high profile individuals like Princess Diana. Most of the floors was devoted to fashion and soon Harvey Nichols became known for introducing luxurious fashion labels like Max Mara and Nicole Farhi to the public.
Today, Harvey Nichols is a fashion powerhouse selling a variety of selection of international brands. Their Hong Kong store opened in October 2011 and today there are 2 Harvey Nichols department store in Hong Kong.
