We zoom into The Landmark’s new Japanese restaurant.

We told you about Zuma in February, and now its here. Zuma is The Landmark‘s new Japanese restaurant located on floors 5 and 6 above ThreeSixty on the side where the Mandarin lobby is. Is this really the only upscale sushi place in Central? Well its definitely lavish and worthy as we zoomed into Zuma for lunch this week. Great decor, great window view and packed at lunch – don’t bother dropping in if you don’t have a reservation. Our small group was able to slide in at 1:40pm as the lunch crowd was starting to dissipate.

The lunch set menu was great – a selection of grilled starter, sushi and a main for $290 per person. We ordered the fried squid and softshell crab to start, and had sashimi and maki rolls which already filled us up – but we had 2 more dishes of ribeye beef and grilled prawn. The wait staff was courteous and we recommend the place for lunch for any occaision.
