Looking to find the perfect bikini? Here’s our top picks.

Fact: There are not many places in Hong Kong where you can find a nice pair of bikini.

Blame it on the limited number of sunny days we get in summer, even as we type this, outside its sunny but the Typhoon Signal 1 is raised. Perhaps there’s not much of a market, as Hong Kong girls tend to shy away from the sun and are too modest to wear a bikini, which means there are only a few good places to shop for bikinis for the sun goddesses that live in our fair city.

We’ve made a brief list of the ones we think are worth checking out:

Sabina Swims
Founded by local designer, Sabina Wong, this bikini store offer a good range of bikinis in classic cuts, muted colours and gorgeous patterns. Nice fabrics and cute details like jade and fresh water pearl bead tassels, makes it worthwhile to trek down to their store at 99 Wellington Street or you can buy online too!

Offers a wide range of more well known bikinis brands here like Seafolly, Wahine, JETS, in this store. They are having a 10-day summer promotion from June 21 -30 where swimwear and flipflops are priced to go at HK$200. A good time to head on down to any of their stores located at 32 Wydham St and 27 Wyndham St.

Australian surf brand, Quiksilver have a few stores in Hong Kong. Expect to find surfer style swimwear here. Roxy, Quiksilver’s label for women surfwear carries a wide range of bikinis, summer dresses and normally takes up half the store. Tip – Boardshorts are a good alternative to bikini bottoms if your buns aren’t beach ready yet.
