Seen on the Spring/Summer 2014 runways at Stella McCartney, Nanette Lepore and Prabul Garung, jumpsuits are one of those versatile fashion items that just never seem to go out of style. Whether it be for a formal occasion, or casual trip to the beach, and for winter or summer, the jumpsuit is here to stay. But one area that is perhaps a bit tricky to style is the office. Getting the right mix of casual and professional is hard at the best of times, and the versatility of a jumpsuit means there is plenty room for error.
To prevent any fashion faux pas, we have selected the most stylish and office appropriate jumpsuits for summer. Remember to look for styles that are not too revealing. If you are going for a shorter length suit, keep the top conservative and don’t show cleavage. You can get away with a lower cut top if your suit has pant legs. Fabric is important; anything sheer is a no-go, the same applies for very tight shiny materials such as leather or satin. Keep the look tailored and embellishment to a minimum. A heel is always good with longer length suits, while you can get away with sandals or ankle boots with shorts.
