Spanish footwear brand Pretty Ballerinas have recently opened their first boutique in Hong Kong in shopping destination Causeway Bay just in time for spring! A favourite of model Kate Moss, actress Angelina Jolie and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Pretty Ballerinas was founded in Menorca Spain by the Mascaro’ family and since its official launch in 2005, has grown into an international ballerina and flat shoe destination, producing 300 pairs a year and boasting over 80 stores worldwide.
Shoppers can expect to find the full range of styles and colours, including the popular animal prints which have been re-invented for 2014 with a bright and exciting colour palette. The Spring/Summer ’14 range featuring new breathable woven textures for extra comfort, vibrant graffiti and vinyl finishes and the new ‘Ella’ pointed toe, a modern update to the classic ‘60’s style.
The store also carries the brands much loved “Pretty Young Princess” children’s range and will soon house the Pretty Ballerinas x Bip Ling collection designed by fashionista Bip Ling.
The Hong Kong store, located in Windsor House shopping complex is a pretty 350 sqft oasis that evokes the feminine aesthetic of the brand. The window display features the brands signature butterfly that shows of the highlighted products each season.
Prices for women’s collection range from HK$ 1,200 – HK$3,000 and HK$1,000- HK$1,500 for children’s.
