ORI & OCCI was founded in Paris by Spanish entrepreneur Alicia Placer and French entrepreneur Leo Achache. Their aim was to revive the espadrille, a classical fashion item from the two cultures, with a modern twist. ORI & OCCI’s luxed-up espadrille uses the highest quality materials like suede, organic calf, natural linen and ecological jute. Each pair is fitted with breathable skin friendly sole, so that they’re truly comfortable and a joy to walk in.
Their first collection takes inspiration from the 1950s summer shoes of the French Riviera and the Spanish Mediterranean coast. Merging fashion with respect for traditional craft and manufacturing traditions, ORI & OCCI espadrilles are designed in Paris and handcrafted in the north of Spain by local artisans, not straying far from the way they have been made since the fourteenth century. A limited run of each design makes each pair unique.
Prices start at HK$680
