Limited edition shoes from Saint Martins’ young designers.

Shoes from William Hendry and Charles Yousef

Bally has launched a women’s shoe collection designed by students from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. For those not in the know, this is where they groom some of today’s leading young fashion talents like Zac Posen, Alexander Wang and Thakoon.

The result of the students’ work is on display at Bally stores all over the world. A VIP night was held last Friday to showcase 6 of the limited edition pairs at the Bally Fashion Walk store in Causeway Bay. Designs by 3 students, Charles Youseef, Estefania Cortes Harker and William Hendry, were made in limited edition (1 pair per size) for purchase with prices ranging from HK$8990 to KH$11,490. We must say we were quite impressed with William Hendry’s curvy and well thought out heels that look great and are very light on the feet.

Bally is considered one of the more established shoe and accessories luxury brands with a heritage of more than 155 years from first being founded in Switzerland in 1851. The luxury brand is on a creative streak to reinvent and refresh their designs and has been actively seeking new collaborations. They struck gold with this one, we say. Do you agree?
