Roland Mouret’s Capsule Collection for Banana Republic

Rolan Mouret for Banana Republic
By   /  September 2, 2014

French designer Roland Mouret was the creative genius that created the galaxy dress which every starlet, socialite and celebrity had to own for its miracle curve giving silhouette.  After leaving his eponymous label, Roland went along his own design path and has now launched a capsule collection with US retailers Banana Republic – another brand which has gone through a bit of an image makeover in the last few years.

The campaign was fronted by Roland and one of his model muses, Karolina Kirkova.  The collection is full of sleek silhouettes and slim fitting yet comfortable separates.  The block colour effective he used previously for a slimming effect is prevalent here.  All the designs celebrate the curves of a woman’s figure and therefore are entirely appropriate for the professional woman target at Banana Republic.  Online items are selling fast but you can still get some great pieces for your work wardrobe if you hurry!
