Put a Fashionable Foot Forward in Graphic Cutout Shoes

By Roxanne  /  March 21, 2014

With summer around the corner, sandals are the word on everyone’s lips.  This season look for graphic cut out detailing and you wont put a fashionable foot wrong!

Whether heeled or flat, sandals took center-stage on the Spring/Summer 2014 runways with striking pairs seen at Mara Hoffman, Rebecca Minkoff and Concept Korea.

Taking inspiration from the gladiator shoe trend of seasons past, the new graphic cutout sandals are bolder, more inspired and incredibly versatile.

How To Wear

Sandals are incredibly easy to wear. Skirts, pants, shorts and dresses are all fair game.  Take into account the colours, materials and shape of your shoe when pairing your outfit.  For shorter girls, ankle cuffs can create the illusion of shorter legs so avoid all together or keep hemlines short. If you are unsure or prefer a subtler take on this trend, choose sandals in neutral tones.  For a foolproof look, combine your cutout sandals with a fresh floral scuba skirt, crisp white blouse and denim jacket.
