Pringle of Scotland’s 3D Printed Knitwear Winter Collection

By Lau  /  October 22, 2015

Pringle of Scotland is one of the oldest knitwear house from the Scotland. They are celebrating their 200 years anniversary this year with collaborations with artists and scientists.

For A/W15 Creative Director, Maissimo Nicosia teamed up scientist Richard Beckett to reintroduce their 3d print collection. Pringle of Scotland is one of the first company to incorporate 3d print with knits where the fabrics feature intricate textures and shapes  for a richer, more interesting and stylish collection. We love the extra dimension and details the 3D printed knit gives their sweaters, cardigans and knitted skirts.  Pringles is taking knitwear to a whole new level giving the soft and comfortable knit more form and structure. We highly recommend looking into getting one of their gorgeous, well made sweaters for fall to wear with your skinny jeans or leggings.

The richly textured print campaign was shot by photographer Albert Watson and does show off the incredible texture and details of the fabric to great effect.
