Designer Olivier Theyskens’s Spring Summer 2017 collection is a mix of femininity  and tailored edginess. Ex-Artistic Director of Rochas, Nina Ricci and Theory, Olivier is no stranger to the fashion world. He started his own label in 1997 when he was only 20 and won the coveted Best International Designer Award offered up by CFDA in 2006. He is known for his  feminine high fashion womenswear, Theysken this season offers a collection that is fluid and delicate. Using exquisite textiles like silk crepe, French tartan wool and satin with details in full silk linings, grosgrain trims, polished stone and exotic skins, Theysken’s ultra-feminine collection is made up of light volume featuring blouses, full skirts, airy gowns, sexy corsets and precise tailoring coats and jackets. We love the juxtaposition of edginess mix with feminine where you can pair a cool leather jacket with a ladylike white puffy skirt. Definitely fashion forward and a great label to mix up with your classic pieces to make your own outfits.
