MatchesFashion Launches Cool New RAEY Collection

MatchesFashion, the brand known for their excellent edit of over 400 established and emerging designers, have recently launched their in-house collection titled RAEY. The collection is a contemporary and crisp interpretation of the modern women’s wardrobe- essentially a selection of the items stylish woman spend years collecting.
Designed by an in-house team led by Creative Director Rachel Proud, the collection is inspired by a modern and minimalist aesthetic. Proud’s previous positions with Christopher Kane and Topshop are evident in the effortlessly cool mood seen in RAEY’s latest offering. It focuses heavily on foundation pieces that can be layered for versatility. A more masculine silhouette gives the range an easy and effortless  air while the classic design aesthetic maintains an undeniably feminine quality.
The crisp colour palette is fresh and trendy. A classic palette of white, navy and grey is highlighted with vibrant accents of lemon and pink. The choice of cashmere, silk and linen gives the collection a luxe feeling throughout.
Probably the most outstanding quality of this range is its versatility. The mix of formal and informal elements combined with a slightly utilitarian aesthetic are what set it apart from the sea of ‘minimalism’ this season. It is as if MatchesFashion have used their renowned editing ability to create a collection that features all of the most popular trend for the upcoming season. A winning formula if ever there was one. Plus, theres also a mens range!

RAEY is available exclusively online at now.
