Sculptural modern pearl jewellery.

Get a glimpse of Thakoon Panichgul’s new jewellery line for Tasaki. Thakoon’s first collection for the Japanese jeweller is a contemporary take on what Tasaki is all about – “beautiful pearls, beautiful materials and beautiful diamonds.”

Founded in 1954, Tasaki has been thus far very traditional in its operation and design but, realizing the need to move forward and appeal to the sensibilities of today’s discerning customer, it has signed on one of the hottest young talents with similar aesthetic sensibilities in Thakoon Panichgul.

The collection comprises of pearl rings set in a row of 3 and 5 pearls, a simple row of 5 pearls on a gold chain and lariat pearl necklaces. We love the simplicity of the designs, allowing the raw beauty of the pearls take center stage. Our verdict: Thakoon has succeeded in making pearl jewellery lust-worthy once again by designing pieces that are modern enough to look great with any outfit.

Watch out for it, the launch date is April in Hong Kong.
