Rado incorporates high tech ceramics to create limited watch collection.
Two years ago, Rado launched its extra-thin high-tech ceramic watch, the Rado True Thinline. Now, the watchmaker has introduced a new innovation in a 1000-piece limited-edition collection made with nitrure de silicium, known as the ultra-light ceramic of the future.
Nitrure de silicium was first developed for automotive engine parts like valves and turbocharger rotors. While it is relatively unknown in the watch-making industry, this ceramic is even more resilient than high-tech ceramic and is extremely resistant to shock and high temperature.
The watch is presented in a smooth, matte black surface paired with a rubber wristband. With its lightweight nature, the timepiece provides incredible lightness and a high level of comfort. So if you’re looking for a sleek timepiece to suit your active lifestyle, you may want to check out nitrure de silicium in Rado True Thinline.
