The new extra-slim pink gold case of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Classic Master Ultra Thin 1907 timepiece is a super thin watch. Shaped like a knife-blade with an even thinner profile, this timepiece features a 39mm-diameter case designed to smoothly embrace the curve of any wrists. At such a sleek design, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s specialists would have had to work exceptionally detailed to build a Fine Watchmaking movement able to fit inside — which is why the watch showcases a manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 849 that is assembled and decorated by hand. This comprises of 123 parts, has a 35-hour power reserve and is equipped with a balance steadily beating at the frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

As for its aesthetic value, the watch houses two dauphine-type hands that sweep over the grained white dial punctuated by baton-type hour-markers. The minute dots between the hour-markers are dusted with pink gold while at 12 o’clock, the JL logo makes an appearance. The Master Ultra Thin 1907 comes with an alligator leather strap secured by an 18-carat pink gold pin buckle. Wondering who to buy it for? We think it will be perfect for dad this upcoming Father’s Day!
