Concord heads to the street to seek inspiration for its latest C2 Graffiti Grey. Part of the C2 Y-12 edition, this contemporary timepiece is a new variation of the C1 signature design with a slightly smaller 43mm diameter black PVD-coated stainless steel case, grey décor, grey and black-stitched alligator strap complete with horizontal tubular attachments. The monochromatic watch also features a 2mm smoked sapphire crystal, visible screws and black PVD-treated stainless steel folding clasp with embossed Concord cover.
As for mechanism, the C2 Graffiti Grey features a mechanical self-winding ETA Caliber 2894-2, 37-jewel movement with a 42-hour power reserve, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour to power its date and chronograph functions. Add on the Super-LumiNova enhanced hour-markers and you get a timepiece that really speaks of its urban graffiti origins.
To pay tribute to C2 Graffiti Grey’s street art inspiration, Concord has collaborated with urban graffiti artists A+B, Seeya and Krio to create their own interpretation of the timepiece. Their works can be seen in their respective home towns — London, Paris and Milan.
