Hugo Boss’s Industrial Beauty Fall/Winter 2015 Collection

By Butterboom Writers  /  March 11, 2015

Known for sharp cuts and streamlined silhouettes, Hugo Boss’ Fall/Winter 2015 collection is all this and more. Artistic Director Jason Wu continues to present his vision of what the Hugo Boss woman is like with his detailed eye and love for contrast – curves with straight lines. In fact, the collection pays homage to the Boss masculine heritage as it is being reinvented for the Hugo Boss woman in classic garments like dresses, trouser suits and overcoats.

The colours du jour for the collection are bold contrasts of black, vanilla and vermilion on rich fabrics like tweed, melange wool and knit. Details like leather, laser-cut sequins, tubular beads and tulle overlays lend a feminine touch to the collection. At the end of the day, the collection is a great translation of interpretation of masculine details on feminine forms. Our favourite has to be the sexy dresses as well as the suits that speak volume with a minimalistic feel.
