Art month has moved forward to March this year, one of the city’s art event is the The Asia Contemporary Art Show which is schedule from 12 to 15 March 2015. This year there are over 100 exhibitors and 3,000 artworks from 20 countries in Asia showcasing at this show. The artworks will be displayed over five floors at the Conrad Hong Kong, Pacific Place. On top of that, more than 60 artists will be present at the show to share their inspiration and vision behind their works. With art pieces starting from HK$7000 up to over HK$ 200,000 this show is for new collectors looking for art in their home, art lovers to seasoned art collectors looking to discover new artists.
Asia Contemporary Art Show will open with a VIP Collectors Preview on Thursday evening on 12 March and to the public, the next day on 13 March at 1pm. VIP tickets are HK$250 per person while standard tickets are HK$180 (admits two if purchased online but one if purchased at the door).
Among artists that will be featured included the more famous artist like Taiwanese Ju Ming, Japanese Nara, Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Aboriginal artist Naata Nungurrayi to up and coming artist like Australian Julia Carter, Leung Pak Ho Pako, Scott Redford, Kwak Seung-Yong.
