Asia Contemporary Art Show will return for its ninth edition on 15-18 September, 2016 at the Conrad Hong Kong. The show features a diverse line-up of more than 80 exhibitors from 15 countries in Asia and around the world, bringing to Hong Kong an outstanding collection of more than 2,500 artworks including original paintings, sculpture and photography.
This year, Asia Contemporary will showcase a range of artwork from local emerging talents and mid-career artists whose works are new to Asia. The works will be on display in hotel rooms across four floors of the Conrad Hong Kong, to give visitors a sense of what the artwork will look like in a home or office.
Artists featured include Francesco Lietti from Italy; Chinese artists Du Xi, Pang Yongjie and Tian Xutong; Tomoko Konno from Japan; South Korean artists Lee Young-Ha, Jang Seunghyo, Park Ji Sook and Moon Joo Ho; American mural painter Mitchell Schorr; Argentinian artist Claudia Ferrari; Turkish portrait artist Mertim Gökalp; Lithuanian artist Ala Leresteux and Vietnamese artist Doan Xuan Tang. Hong Kong is also well represented with artists Lau Chin Hung, Water Poon, Xie Ke and Martin Lever.
