Lots of speculation as to whether Marc Jacobs will make the cut.
We’re watching with bated breath to see who will be the next Creative Director at Dior after John Galliano’s embarrassing dismissal in March 2011. Some of the names that have been flying around include Marc Jacobs, Riccardi Tisci, Raf Simons, Alexander Wang and Jason Wu.
It seems that every famous name was considered for the role, from Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquiere to YSL’s Stefano Pilati, Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, Jean Paul Gaultier, Prabal Gurung, and Roland Mouret.
Meanwhile, Dior’s Studio Director Bill Gayttens has been busy assuming the role of interim designer, designing the Fall/Winter collection in September.
So, who do you think will be the new powerhouse at the House of Dior?
