Streetwear brand sets up shop on Nathan Road.

There’s yet another must-visit destination to add to your shopping sprees – Superdry has opened a stand-alone flagship store in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The UK label, inspired by vintage Americana with a Japanese twist, has long been a celebrity favourite and worn by the likes of David Beckham, Kate Moss, Zac Efron and Helena Christensen. Owned by the Bauhaus group here and previously available in smaller shops in Hong Kong malls, the Tsim Sha Tsui flagship marks the start of Superdry’s potential planned expansion to China after posting strong sales in Asia.

Opening night saw plenty of celebrity guests in attendance, including Florinda Ho, Real Ting and Alex Lam all kitted out in Superdry’s finest, whilst there were catwalk shows and competitions to keep the audience entertained. Those not lucky enough to get an invite may also have spotted the specially-commissioned Superdry Minis driving round the city!

Superdry’s selection of colourful tees, denim jeans and funky hoodies retail for between HKD$400 to $3000 and their signature hipster style should fit right in with the rest of Nathan Road’s exciting fashion district.
