Shrek Returns to Hong Kong

By Butterboom Writers  /  June 26, 2007

The big green ogre finally shows up this Thursday.

Shrek the Third has been dubbed into Cantonese and is ready to make his third visit to Hong Kong this Thursday, June 28. Are we excited? Not really. It got a critical thumping in the US, and basically what we have seen so far this summer is that the third time is definitely not the charm for movies.

Of note though is that Hong Kong-born Raman Hui (許誠毅) who works at Dreamworks is co-director of this film, so support the homegrown talent on what I’m sure will at least be worth the admission price.
