Paul Smith “Daydreaming With My Camera” Exhibition

Paul Smith introduces polaroid prints to his new line of scarves and pocket squares.

As part of Paul Smith’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection the London based designer has introduced a selection of limited edition scarves and pocket squares collectively titled “Day Dreaming with My Camera.” These limited edition pieces feature images taken by Sir Paul himself and comprise of photos taken at his Kean Street head office, Covent Garden, and a number of shots that is indicative of London.

For those interested in seeing prints of Sir Paul’s photographic work as well as the scarves and pocket squares you can view them at a special exhibition being held in the Gateway Arcade in Harbour City, from now till the 11th of November.

Each piece feels like a piece of art and is complete with Sir Paul’s signature and the words “Day Dreaming with My Camera” printed on the border in his hand writing.

“I always carry a camera whereever I go, and take photographs every day. I like to take photographs of the ‘caught moment’ and that is why the exhibition is called ‘Day Dreaming with My Camera’. Today, with interesting applications and filters on digital cameras and iPhones you can get some great effects such as the mirror image, kaleidoscope and many many more.” Paul Smith.
