New York-based hip label Opening Ceremony brings a funky Pop-up Store over to I.T’s Hysan Flagship Store, a friendly reunion amidst OC’s rising play in transforming the street fashion landscape. The brand’s much-acclaimed founding duo and now also co-creative directors of Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon showcase some of their favourite picks from the SS14 Collection, together with five exclusive pieces only available at this I.T Pop-up.

Expect to see blazing neon yellows, explosive crackles with street racing references vrooming against tranquil daisy blues in traditional Korean scenery prints. This bold collection, which caused a fashion buzz earlier on, is a tribute to Carol’s Korean heritage and both founders/long-time friends’ teenage memories of L.A.’s drag racing culture. Opening Ceremony is most famous for mixing playful pop culture with high street fashion, and is active in high-profile collaborations with big names from different spectrum, including DKNY, Maison Martin Margiela, Adidas, Topshop, celebrities like Yoko Ono, Chloë Sevigny, and Rihanna.

We are particularly fond of those Pop-up exclusives – hot mini-skirt and sleeveless pleated dress in Korean 5 element print. Also not to miss out is that neon yellow crackle calf lele handbag with witty seat-belt buckle motif.
