“Some journeys change mankind forever”.

Louis Vuitton has launched their awe-inspiring campaign for 2009. Space is the final frontier and a journey to the moon is what Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign is about. To commemorate the 40th year since man’s first journey to the moon and to advent the real significance of travel, the design house has tapped 3 amazing personalities who have had the privilege of traveling to space.

Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot upon the Moon on July 20th, 1969. Jim Lovell, commander of the Apollo 13 mission in 1973, and Sally Ride, the first American woman to go into space in 1983. Shot by photographer Anne Leibovitz, the campaign features the 3 famous figures in the beautiful California dessert.
