Lanvin Opens Flagship Boutique in Beijing

The French house’s largest store in Asia.

French fashion house Lanvin grows its presence in the Asian market with the opening of its flagship boutique in Sanlitun North Village, Beijing.

Under the artistic direction of Alber Elbaz, the 3-storey store covering an area of 556 square meters is the brand’s largest in the region. You’d find both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections in the boutique, as well as core pieces from the “Blanche”, “22 Faubourg”, “Tailoring” and “Swim” capsule collections.

The new boutique looks and feels like a luxury apartment, with 1930s archive photos acting as decorative pieces. Visually, it’s dramatic due to the heavy use of mirrors, strong colors and contrasting materials. We are especially wowed by the va-va-voom salon space (exclusive to private sales and fittings) on the top floor as it’s completely awash in red lacquer!
