Top local and international fashion talents will showcase their latest design and insights at Centrestage, a new international fashion event organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKDTC) running from 7 to 10 September 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This will be a platform for international, especially Asian, fashion labels and designers to promote their brands and launch their latest collections. Among highlights of the event will be the opening gala fashion show Centrestage Elites featuring the Spring/Summer 2017 collections of rising stars like Mim Mak (Hong Kong), Simon Gao (Beijing), Ko Taeyong (Seoul) and Pongsak Suprratccheep & Thita Kamonnetsawat (Bangkok) and fashion shows throughout the event from brands like 45R, anagram, Anteprima, Aquascutum, Arthur Lam, Atsuro Tayama, Charmante, Galtiscopio, Harrison Wong, Hidy N.G., initial, i.t, Jnby, Kenaxleung, Koyo, Loom Loop, Lu Lu Cheung, Marimekko and Moiselle.
Also happening is the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) where 17 finalists will showcase their works, competing in four award categories. Judges for this year’s contest are Lawrence Leung (Chairman of HKTDC, Garment Advisory), VIP Judge Hiromichi Ochiai (Director of FACETASM), Federico Tan (Director, Social Capital Limited), Reeds Yau (Director, Creative & Visual Merchandising ImagineX Group), Bonnie Lam (Vice President, YOHO! Media Division), Jonathan Lee (Senior Buyer, Shine Trading) and Virginia Chan (Head of Footwear, i.t apparels).
Admission is free for public on 8th Septembers onwards.
