Help Save and Rehome Dogs This Christmas!

By Butterboom Writers  /  December 5, 2017

Love dogs, check out Dogtown, a unique initiative by Nordic lifestyle boutique squarestreet and local animal shelter Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) to raise funds for saving and rehoming abandoned dogs across Hong Kong.

Currently on exhibition at the squarestreet boutique in Sheung Wan, Dogtown is a miniature winter village that was designed, built, hand-painted and coordinated for two months by the squarestreet team highlighting a mix of Hong Kong and Scandinavian features including a HKDR house, model railway, European buildings, milk shed and Swedish as well as Hong Kong delicacies food stalls. What’s unique about it is that you can purchase a dog or human miniature figures for only HK50 to populate it so that it comes “alive”. You even get to name your figure and follow its progress daily on squarestreet’s social media @15squarestreet.

Make a donation to save our furry friends. All the proceeds from Dogtown will go directly to help abandoned dogs find a new home.

Sales of figures and donations will take place until 15 January 2018 while the installation will end 31 January 2018.
