The Order of the Phoenix rises in Hong Kong.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opens in Hong Kong on July 11, Wednesday (and around the world.) This new installment (Number 5) follows up on the evil Lord Voldemort’s return and should be as exciting or moreso than the last one “The Goblet of Fire” – the first 2 were a bit shaky and as non-readers of the books, we couldn’t understand its popularity but seeing these 3 young kids grow up on-screen with magic around them it quickly became fun and an event we looked forward to.
You can book tickets now, and more importantly you can book IMAX tickets in Hong Kong now at Megabox. The IMAX show includes the huge IMAX 3D screen and features an amazing IMAX-ified last 20 minutes of the movie. So if you are a Harry Potter fan and need a reason to see it in the theatres book the $115/person IMAX tickets and experience movies in a new way.
In more Harry Potter news, Amazon.com has already sold 1.6 million copies of the FINAL Harry Potter book “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” which comes out this month on July 21. Yes, 1.6 MILLION pre-ordered copies at US$17.99 each for the hardcover, that’s alot of magic.
