Harvey Nichols shows off the best of British fashion with the Great Cast of British Designers exhibit.
Harvey Nichols is boasting their London heritage by showing off fun and funky collections by young and innovative British designers. The exhibition, known as the Great Cast of British Designers, runs until November 21 at Harvey Nichols at the Landmark.
With opening night celebrations having kicked off on November 8th, the exhibit is part of the Great Week of Creativity – an event that celebrates the design, art and fashion that Britain has to offer. Fashion favourites Jonathan Saunders, Markus Lupfer and Shaun Samson were present in the flesh to open the exhibit, chatting with the crowd about the flair and craft behind their designs.
Menswear specialists, Markus Lupfer and Shaun Samson, showed off the versatility of men’s street wear. Lupfer’s collection displayed quirky skull prints on everyday basic’s and sweaters, while Samson’s collection was full of oversized shirts and shorts – and some were even embellished with goat hair. Jonathan Saunders, who is famed for his expertise in prints, showed off vibrant and floral prints on his chic and elegant dresses.
