Ming Gor, restaurant owner of Pei Ho Counterparts in Sham Shui Po, is known for his altruistic act where he distributes meal vouchers to the needy for them to enjoy a free meal in his restaurant. To continue his charitable work and after officiating Pei Ho Counterparts as a charitable social enterprise, Ming Gor will hold his first fundraising event – Pei Ho Counterparts Charity Pop-Up Store – where you can be a part of feeding Hong Kong’s less fortunate.
The Pei Ho Counterparts Charity Pop-Up Store will run from 17 November to 15 December selling lunch boxes and charity meal vouchers at the ground floor lobby of No. 1 Lan Kwai Fong. Nine variations of Ming Gor’s specialty lunch boxes will be available while the event aims to sell 40,000 meal vouchers, which is equivalent to the amount needed for a one-year meal vouchers operation in Ming Gor’s restaurant to provide free meals to the needy. Of course, the more meal vouchers sold the better!
Each lunch box is HK$32 and each meal voucher is HK$24, both of which provides a free meal for an underprivileged citizen. Just drop by at the location during the duration and purchase these meal vouchers. On top of that, Android Pay will donate $4 towards Pei Ho (Ming Gor) Charity Foundation whenever you use the mobile checkout service. You can also purchase these meal vouchers via oather supporting organisations and partners, including Pei Ho Counterpart’s website at www.peiho.hk, all 7-Eleven stores and Deliveroo.
