From 26th to 29th March 2015, the Dries Van Noten SS15 Runway Carpet Exhibition World Tour will kick off in Hong Kong as the first city to host the exhibition. For his Spring/Summer 2015 Women’s show, Dries Van Noten worked with Argentine artist Alexandra Kehayoglou to create a handmade 48 metres long and 3 metres wide carpet just for the show. Kehayoglou comes from an Argentine background of rug and carpet textile-making tradition.
Organised by Joyce, the exhibition will relive the SS15 women’s show recreated with two sets of carpets and runway footage. With Hong Kong being the first city, the artist will make a personal appearance to kick off the tour at the Qube at PMQ.Details: Dries Van Noten SS15 Runway Carpet Exhibition 11am to 8pm, 26 to 29th March 2015 Qube at PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong.
